Powerlifting is one of the most accessible sports to get into. Once you’ve got a grasp of the basics you can pretty much head to your first competition.

The community is diverse, with people from all walks of life creating a sense of inclusivity.

WHO CAN DO IT? Literally anybody.

Anyone can do weightlifting, although the entry level can seem higher due to the focus on technical mastery. 

Once you get it though you won’t look back, and similar to powerlifting the community in weightlifting is friendly and inclusive.

THE BENEFITS? Get explosive strength!

Weightlifting is a power sport, which means you’ll be learning how to move heavy weight, fast. 

You’ll pack on muscle and be able to accelerate faster whether you’re moving weights or on the track and field.

I joined CLR a year ago and it is truly amazing how much knowledge I have gained over that time period.
Prior to joining, I hadn’t stepped foot in a gym for over almost three years due to family commitments. I never lifted weights nor had I stuck to a ‘diet regime’.
I hadn’t given myself any numerical goals to achieve, however with more energy, better posture and a stronger mental attitude, I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Absolutely not, we have complete beginners to experienced lifters.

CAN GIRLS DO IT?

You should know the strongest person in the gym pound for pound is a girl! So, YES!

IS THERE A MINIMUM COMMITMENT PERIOD?

Yes there is 12 week commitment on all coaching packages.

IS YOUR GYM OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR CLIENTS ONLY?

Yes anyone is able to attend the gym on a casual or client basis
