What we store, and what we don’t

Short version: one entry in your browser remembering the choice you made, and nothing else unless you allow it. No advertising trackers, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

That’s the whole list — no tracking cookies, and nothing that identifies you. It’s stored in your browser and never sent to us, so we can’t read it from our side.

The two categories

Functional — always on: Needed for the site to work: remembering your cookie choice and basic security. You can’t switch these off, because without them the site stops working.
Analytics — your choice: Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which count page views and measure load times so we can see which pages people actually use and which ones are slow. They set no cookies and don’t follow you to other sites. They only load if you allow it — if you don’t, the scripts are never fetched.

Some parts of the site involve another company. Here’s when, and what they get.

Vercel AnalyticsOnly if you allow analytics: Counts page views and which pages are popular. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites.
Vercel Speed InsightsOnly if you allow analytics: Measures how quickly pages load on real devices, so slow pages can be found and fixed. Gated with analytics rather than treated as necessary — it is no more essential to the site working than the page-view count is.
ResendOnly if you send the contact form: Delivers what you wrote to us as an email. The message is not stored in a database on this site — it goes straight to our inbox.
Google FontsNever, in fact: The site’s fonts are built into our own domain, so your browser doesn’t contact Google to load them. Listed here because people reasonably assume otherwise.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choice whenever you like — it’s meant to be as easy as giving it. Turning analytics back off reloads the page so the scripts stop immediately, rather than lingering until you navigate somewhere else.

You can also clear it yourself: everything we store lives under this site in your browser’s storage, and clearing site data removes it. The same option sits in the footer of every page.
